Key components of the SPPCA
The SPPCA covers an area from the Caprock to the New Mexico border and from Plainview to Lamesa. We provide a forum for Law Enforcement Executives to exchange ideas, discuss legislative issues, provide training for our First Responders and have the ability to network with our colleagues from other communities and agencies. Our goal is to provide a safe haven for our communities.
Winner of the 2026 TPCA Foundation Raffle
Chief Dwain Read with the Abernathy Police Department is the proud winner of the 2026 Texas Police Chiefs Foundation raffle. He is shown here with the 2025 Ford Bronco he won. Chief Read bought the winning ticket that supports the Texas Police Chiefs Foundation. The TPCA foundation provides $10,000 to families of fallen officrers in the state of Texas, usually within 24 hours. The SPPCA is proud to support this worthy cause.
